Neodymium Countersunk Channel Magnets
Neodymium Pot Magnet with Bore Countersink, this magnet in a steel pot has a countersunk hole and can be fastened with a countersunk screw. Pot magnets with screw hole - also called countersunk magnets - are compact magnet systems with a steel shell and a countersunk hole for easy mounting. The bolt with a flat countersunk head falls flush with or in the top of the magnet. This optimizes the attracting surface of the pot magnet.
Pot Countersunk Magnets / Neodymium Pot Magnets
These Neodymium Shallow Pot Magnets feature a countersunk hole to accommodate screw fixings. They are ideal for applications where magnets are used closing mechanisms, where the screw head must be concealed, such as cabinet doors, drawers, gate latches and door holdings. They are also ideal for other applications such as shop fitting where magnets are used for attaching shelving, signage, lighting systems and window displays. Neodymium is the perfect material for these applications as it gives a high magnetic strength to size ratio, hence a small magnet can be used in applications where space is limited. The countersunk hole in the magnet can accommodate anything from M3 to M5 screw head size depending on the magnet size.
Countersunk magnets are available with either pole on the magnetic face so that they can be used as a pair to attract or repel. If you are using two magnets to attract you need to make sure the opposite poles are facing each other as identical poles will repel!
