Neodymium Ring Magnets

Strong Rare-Earth Neodymium Ring Magnets are specified by specifying the outer diameter Ø D, the inner diameter Ø D and the height H. Neodymium (also known as “Neo”, “NdFeb” or “NIB”) ring magnets are strong Rare-Earth magnets, circular in shape with a hollow center. Neodymium ring magnets are the most powerful magnets commercially available today with magnetic properties that far exceed those of other permanent magnet materials. Due to their high magnetic strength, neodymium ring magnets have replaced other magnetic materials in order to make a design smaller while achieving the same result.

Neodymium Ring Magnets

Rare Earth Ring Magnets, also known as neodymium ring magnets, are often used in joinery and shop-fitting as they may be recessed and screwed into position. Although not as strong as Neodymium discs of the same diameter, the hole in the centre of the ring magnet ensures great versatility.

This type of permanent magnet can be used in science projects or experiments, medical applications, cabinetry, water conditioning, loudspeakers and other commercial and industrial purposes. The higher permeance coefficient makes Neodymium ring magnets ideal for many applications.

Neodymium rings are one of the most popular shapes of rare earth magnets. Magnosphere supplies a wide range of ring magnets in different sizes and with several different coatings such as Nickel, Zinc, Epoxy or Gold to prevent and reduce wear and corrosion.

The Neodymium ring magnet in our range are versatile, high-performance. Ring magnets can be magnetised with their north and south pole on opposite circular faces or diametrically magnetised so that the north pole is on one curved side and the south pole is on opposite curved side. They are used in many everyday appliances such as vacuum cleaners plus motors, generators, rotor shafts and more. These ring magnets are made from neodymium magnet.

Neodymium magnet has been used since the 1980s and is the go to magnetic material when you are looking for a very strong ring magnet (or any other shapes) for that matter. The term ring magnet describes the basic shape of these round magnets with holes in the middle. A ring magnet comes in many diameters.

Our ring magnets have traditionally drilled holes in the magnets and countersunk holes for #6, #8, #10, #12 screws when you need the head of the screw flush with the face of the magnet.

NEODYMIUM RING MAGNETS

Neodymium ring magnets are functional, high-performance magnets with a wide range of applications. Commonly used in everything from joinery and shop fittings to science projects and experiments, these magnets are incredibly versatile, making them a popular choice for a range of industries.
