If you add magnetic paint under the whiteboard paint, you also have a magnetic whiteboard! Use this whiteboard paint with our magnetic paint/iron paint and a writable, wipeable pinboard is created. It can now be written on like a whiteboard with non-permanent markers. With whiteboard paint, walls in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway can be given a decorative coat of paint and at the same time serve as a practical note-taking area. The whiteboard paint creates a matt surface that can be written on with non-permanent markers and can always be wiped clean with a damp cloth. For absorbent surfaces, we recommend applying a primer to maintain the range information.
The whiteboard paint is a water-soluble 2-component varnish based on PU acrylate. You bring them together the moment they want to use it. A thick layer is enough for a real effect. After three days, the paint will have hardened enough that you can sketch and write on your new whiteboard surface. The following applies: the smoother the surface, the easier it is to clean the texts or drawings. Easily removed with a soft cloth or whiteboard eraser. Stubborn marker residue can be removed with a damp cloth or whiteboard cleaning spray.

General information

surface

• The surface should be solid, clean, dry, free of grease and, above all, smooth (preferably sanded and wiped with a dry cloth).
• Remove shiny surfaces and intact paint layers. Avoid irregular or absorbent surfaces. Use a suitable primer if necessary.
• Can be used on stone, wood, hard plastic and metal.
• New dark surfaces should be pre-treated evenly with a suitable (white) primer. This prevents the use of multiple layers of blackboard paint.

General

• The whiteboard paint virtually transforms any smooth surface into a writable surface for whiteboard markers. Applicable: the smoother the surface, the easier it is to clean the text or drawings. Easily removed with a soft cloth or whiteboard eraser. Stubborn marker residue can be removed with a damp cloth or whiteboard cleaning spray.

processing

• Do not use at a temperature below +10°C and/or a relative humidity level above 80%. Apply plenty of paint.

Application instructions

• Before painting, check the surface for dust and irregularities. Any unevenness can be seen after painting. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
• Add the entire contents of hardener from small can A to the paint in large can B. Mix thoroughly immediately. After stirring, let the mixture sit for 5 minutes until most of the air bubbles are gone. If necessary, dilute with a maximum of 3% clear water.
• Process it within an hour! Given the quick drying process, you avoid additional brushing and rolling.
• A thick layer is enough for a real effect.
• Remove painter's tape within an hour of applying paint.
• Use a fluffy short nub roller as an applicator (tip: remove loose hair with tape before use) / foam roller (extra fine).
• Clean with soap and water after use.
• Theoretical coverage: up to 3 m² / 0.5 liters.
• Drying time: tack-free after about 4 hours. Allow to dry for three days to harden, then you can write on the whiteboard paint. To keep the surface clean, use cleaning spray regularly.

Tip

• Clear whiteboard paint: For dark backgrounds, use chalk markers instead of erasable markers.
