Ferrite Block Ceramic Rectangular Magnet 60 mm x 40 mm x 15 mm Y35 - holds 6,0 kg  Ferrite Block Ceramic Rectangular Magnet 60 mm x 40 mm x 15 mm Y35 - holds 6,0 kg

Ferrite Block Magnets, Ceramic Block Magnets feature straight edges and are available in all proportions from cubes through to flat rectangular bars. Ferrite blocks are available in sizes from approx 10mm length up to 150mm length, with pull strengths exceeding 12kg. Block (or bar) magnets have completely flat surfaces that are perpendicular (at right angles) to each other, and are available in all scales from cubes through to long rectangular prisms. The dimensions for blocks are Length x Width x Height (mm).

Ferrite Magnets are offered in a wide range of sizes, dimensions and different proportions or strengths. Our ferrite blocks are a low cost but versatile and multipurpose type of magnet. Large ceramic block magnets are often used in metal sweeping and separation applications. Smaller Ferrite blocks are commonly used in DC motors, as sensors and in various handicrafts.

Ferrite magnets can be used in a wide range of applications due to their high coercivity and low cost. They also have good machining properties which allows them to be cut into different shapes and sizes - they are cut with diamond tooling; standard drills and wire spark erosion techniques do not work. Ferrite has an excellent resistance to demagnetisation/corrosion, however care must be taken when handling the product due to its brittleness. Ferrite magnets can be used up to +250 degrees C making it ideal for use in electrical machines. At sub-zero temperatures e.g. less than -10 to -20 deg C, ferrite may start to show a reduced pull force (the temperature and the degree of weakening depends on the magnet shape and is application specific; for most uses this effect does not happen as the magnets never get that cold).

Details

  • Ferrite magnets are made of an iron oxide powder and a blend of other metals. Their cheap price, together with their high heat and corrosion resistance, makes them perfect in many fields and applications, such as industrial equipment, gadgets, bricolage, automotive, holders, fixtures, sensors and many more!
  • This magnetic block, also known as “rectangular magnet”, is made of ferrite, which grants a reliable performance and a very competitive price when compared with Neodymium
  • These magnets can resist at a maximum temperature of 250 °C
  • POWERFUL - ceramic magnet material assures great holding force under ideal conditions.
  • ECONOMICA - This ceramic magnet is an economical choice for magnets. Only a small part of the cost of a rare earth magnet of similar size.
  • DURABLE - They will not rust in any environment. Suitable for fresh water or salt water. Magnetism will always continue normal use.
  • APPLICATION SCOPE - Science education in schools, children's science projects, namely suspended trains, hand-made at home, light.

Magnet force

The forces have been determined at room temperature on a plate in polished steel (S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm (1kg ~ 10N). A maximum deviation of -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. Value is exceeded in general. Depending on the type of application (installation situation, temperatures, counter anchor etc.) the forces can be influenced enormously.

Classy look and high-quality material

Thanks to the elegant look of our Strong Ferrite Block Magnets, Ceramic Magnets, they can be placed in a clearly visible position.
